This was the reaction of Vice Ganda when Regine Velasquez offered to take over GGV
Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez offered to take over Gandang Gabi Vice (GGV) and its host Vice Ganda reacted about this.
During the recent episode of the Kapamilya late night talk show every Sunday, Regine was the guest.
Vice was obviously delighted of his guest but there was a portion that he was a bit alarmed for himself.
It all started when the diva sang the theme song of Kim Chui’s teleserye and she noticed the reverb.
Then, Vice said that it is automatic for other people but when he sings, that was not the same thing to him.
“Show ko ‘to pero ang ilaw nasa guest. Tignan mo, yung ilaw ko butas butas,” he added.
Vice Ganda also quipped that he had to secure his feet on the chair so that he will not slip.
With this, Regine Velasquez asked him, “napapagod ka na ba?”
The GGV host answered that it is okay than without having a show. This was answered by Regine with, “Kasi isa-suggest ko sana sayo, baka gusto mo ako muna.”
This received a positive answer from the comedian-host.
With a serious face, Regine said that she and the management have already planned about her take over.
“Kung gusto mong magkaroon ng simpleng buhay muna, mag-date date ka muna kasama ng jowers mo. Kunwari lang ma-decide mo na magpahinga, alam mong okay ako ah,” the diva said.
As she was saying this, Vice Ganda‘s face expressed disbelief and he obviously did not agree with the suggestion.
After that, Regine Velasquez showed the new icon of GGV on the big screen behind them.
It showed the face of the Songbird with GGV which stood for “Gandang Gabi Velasquez”.
“Regine, not a good joke,” Vice said with jest. Then, he said that he felt nervous about it.
