Meet Alyssa Muhlach, Philippines’ representative for Reina Hispanoamericana 2018.

REINA HISPANOAMERICANA 2018 – Meet Alyssa Muhlach, the country’s representative for this year’s Reina Hispanoamericana.

The first time the Philippines joined in the international beauty pageant Reina Hispanoamericana last year with Winwyn Marquez as the representative, the prestigious crown and title were successfully bagged.

Celebrity daughter and model even expressed, “I joined the pageant not expecting anything. Sabi ko I’m going to enjoy. I’m going to show people what I’ve got. I’m going to perform and I’m going to show people na I can answer well, that I’m ready. So God’s will siguro talaga. Sobrang overwhelmed.”

Winwyn’s Reina Hispanoamericana crown costs $7, 000 or P357, 000 as it is made of silver, rubies, and diamonds. Meanwhile, the original one which was in Bolivia has a price of about $12, 000.

And now, for this year’s pageantry, celebrity daughter and accomplished singer, Alyssa Muhlach is set to represent the country to vie for the crown and the title targetting to have a second consecutive crown for the Philippines.

During the get-go of Miss World Philippines 2018, she stood out with her royal blue gown detailed with the dazzling Philippine map at the back. She is the daughter of actress Almira Muhlach and former basketball player Bong Alvarez.

She belongs to the prominent showbiz clan that includes uncle Aga Muhlach and aunt, Miss Universe Philippines 1994 Charlene Gonzalez.

And in a report from Inquirer, she shared the advice she received from Winwyn, she said, “She told me that although it is a tough competition, I should just be myself and enjoy everything. Ignore bashers. Do my “homework” in preparation for the pageant.”

Although pressured of being Winwyn’s successor, she used it as a motivation to do her best and strive for excellence.
