REGINE VELASQUEZ TRANSFER – This famous Filipino-American singer who had competed in an international competition reacts to Regine Velasquez transfer.
Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez is now a certified Kapamilya as she officially signed a contract with the ABS-CBN last October 17 putting an end to all the rumors that she is switching her network.
She received a very warm welcome coming from the staff and the artists of the said giant media network. Her future projects include singing the theme song the upcoming series “The General’s Daughter“, the much-anticipated Christmas station ID of ABS-CBN, appearance in ASAP, a sitcom, and singing show “Idol Philippines”.
In terms of her decision in transferring, no one has persuaded her for it was her choice to leave the network that sheltered her for 20 years. She shared, “It was really me who decided. Tsaka if you know me like my husband knows who I am, you know na gagawin ko kung ano ang gusto ko.”
Moreover, she indicated, “I am going to Australia for the ASAP, my very first appearance. Tapos eh meron akong pa-concert.”
With her transfer, the Filipino-American singer and songwriter and a runner-up on the eleventh season of the reality show American Idol, Jessica Sanchez has reacted to this.
On Twitter, the Fil-Am singer has said, “Big congrats to miss [Regine Velasquez] on the big news !!! Thank you for being amazing & also for rooting for me when i was on idol! Can’t wait to see you as a judge on Phil Idol.”
To which Regine has replied to, “You should’ve been the winner but even so to all of us Filipinos YOU ARE THE WINNER. I’m proud of you and thank you.”
