Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez officially Kapamilya now!
REGINE VELASQUEZ – The former Kapuso artist Regine Velasquez officially Kapamilya after several months of stirring controversies about her switching to another TV network.
On Wednesday, October 17, Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez has finally signed her contract with her news network to which officially makes her as a certified Kapamilya. It was a much-anticipated event headlining the online news reports and became trending on Twitter.
She was welcomed by a lot of fans and a red carpet in her new TV network. The welcome was definitely for a queen like Regine and along with the fans waiting for her are ABS-CBN bosses and her husband Ogie Alcasid.
Leaving the network which sheltered her for around two decades, she had emotionally stated, “I have stayed here for two decades. Maraming maraming salamat po sa tiwalang ibinigay niyo sa akin and for taking good care of me.”
Kuh Ledesma, a close friend of her who is as well one of the best singers that the show business industry had, has indicated about the Songbird’s transfer, “She’s very hard working at kaibigan siya. Ngayon nga that she’s already a sister in Christ kasi she’s a Christian already, and I’m very proud of her… Sana magkaroon kami ulit ng ‘Power of Two’.”
