The state weather bureau PAGASA released the newest and the latest weather updates in the country for today.

On Friday (October 19, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released the latest weather updates in the country.

PAGASA announced that the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will affect the weather condition over Palawan and Mindanao.

The weather disturbance would bring cloudy weather conditions with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Davao, ARMM, SOCCSKARGEN, Zamboanga Peninsula, and Palawan.

The localized thunderstorms are also expected to bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

The weather agency has also advised the public to take precautionary measures for possible flashfloods and landslides because of the severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the extreme Northern Luzon would have moderate to rough coastal water condition.

The remaining parts of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao would moderate coastal waters.
