The Filipino politician Juan Ponce Enrile corrects his “Businesswoman” profession in his COC entry, celebrities react to his candidacy.
At 94 years old, former Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile is now seeking to return again in the Philippine Senate.
Enrile will run for a Senate seat in the upcoming elections next year but he will run as an independent candidate.
The politician joined the late dictator’s daughter Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos in the 2019 Senatorial race.
On Tuesday (October 16, 2018), the veteran politician filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) through his lawyer Joseph Sagandoy.
However, Enrile’s authorized representative who filed his COC mistakenly wrote “Businesswoman” on its COC entry.
The former lawyer’s camp immediately corrects the COC entry and changed it from “Businesswoman” to “Businessman”.
