REGINE VELASQUEZ – Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez statement following confirmation of her controversial network transfer from GMA to ABS-CBN.
The GMA network has finally broken their silence and confirmed that the OPM hitmaker Regine Velasquez has left them after sheltering her for around 20 years. The singer joined her husband Ogie Alcasid in the Kapamilya network after some months of the stirring issue about her network transfer.

Regine’s former network has stated, “After two decades, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid has officially said her goodbyes to the Kapuso Network. We understand her decision to join her husband and we wish her well as she pursues other opportunities outside GMA Network.”

In a previous report, the emotional singer has expressed, “All I have is gratitude for GMA. Thank you very, very, very much for everything, for taking good care of me, not just me but my whole family.”

Her first appearance with her new network will be in ASAP Live In Sydney this October 20 at the ICC Sydney Theatre.

In the said post, the singer has written, “Para sa lahat ng sumusuporta sa akin maraming maraming salamat sa pagtatanggol nyo sakin naging kasama ko kayo sa lahat ng pinagdadaan ko. Sana wag kayong magsawa. Love you guys thank you again.”
