Actress Jan Marini files COC to run for a position this coming Election 2019.
ELECTION 2019 – The actress Jan Marini has already filed her certificate of candidacy to run as a Councilor in District 4 Quezon City.
One of the widely participated events in the country is the election where a big part of the population makes time to vote to the officials they believe will bring change to the country. And Election 2019 is definitely approaching really fast.
And now, incumbent politicians and aspiring politicians are flaking their way to file their COCs at the different Commission on Election (COMELEC) offices.
For the Senate, those who have already filed were Mar Roxas, Paolo Benigno “Bam” Aquino IV, Pia Cayetano, Imee Marcos, and Chel Diokno. While for the Congress, it is Marilou Arroyo-Lesaca. Jejomar Erwin “Junjun” Binay Jr. and Gemma Lubigan were among those who filed for a local position.
And added to the list running for a local position is the actress Jan Marini who has already filed her candidacy to run as a Councilor of Quezon City’s District 4. She was accompanied by her husband actor Gerard Pizarras and friend Ara Mina.
Marini shared that it was just the beginning after filing.

Also, thinking of running as well, Ara Mina wrote on her Instagram account, “I still have 2 days to decide… whether to pursue another dream that I have in my heart. Pls pray for me. Alam ko hindi madali. I admit I am not perfect, but that doesn’t change the fact that I really want to serve. I still cannot decide because in everything I do, I want to give my 100%. Alam yan ng mga malalapit sa akin. So… in 2 days, malalaman natin.”
