Former DILG Sec. Mar Roxas Announces He’ll Run in the Upcoming 2019 Elections
MAR ROXAS – Former Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Mar Roxas announced that he will run in the 2019 elections.
One of the 2016 presidential candidates is former Interior Sec. Roxas. His Vice President is Leni Robredo who is now the Vice President of the Philippines.
Roxas lost to President Rodrigo Roa Duterte. Following his defeat in the presidential race, he has visibly lived a different life away from the camera. Many are curious as to the possibility of him returning to the political arena.
Recently, an answer to the questions came in the way. Based on a recent social media post of Rappler, the former Interior Secretary eyes comeback in the political field. He is offering his service to the Filipino citizenry once again.
Based on the post, Roxas recently announced that he will run for senator in the 2019 Elections. He has also released a video on his Facebook account.
