CONFIRMED: Atty. Panelo Next Spokesperson of Pres. Duterte
PANELO – Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Attorney Salvador Panelo confirmed that he is the next spokesperson of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
Previously, presidential spokesperson Harry Roque raised the possibility that he will resign from being the spokesperson of Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte. His thought stemmed from allegedly being unaware of the whereabouts of the President.
Roque has recently taken an indefinite leave. On the other side, someone close to Pres. Duterte has confirmed that he will be the next spokesperson of the 73-year-old leader.
Based on a recent report on ABS-CBN News, Atty. Salvador Panelo confirmed to the reporters that he is Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte‘s next spokesperson.
According to the report, in case the Chief Presidential Legal Counsel would push through in being the next spokesperson of Pres. Duterte, it is not his first time to be the mouthpiece of the President.
In 2016, when the former Davao City Mayor has just assumed his position, the post was given to the lawyer.
