GRETCHEN FULLIDO CASE – Here is what Kapamilya reporter Gretchen Fullido have expressed after support received from different personalities.
Sexual Harassment and Libel cases have been filed by Kapamilya reporter Gretchen Fullido against two ABS-CBN Execs and her colleagues last October 5 at the City Prosecutors’ Office of Quezon City.
Among her colleagues facing the libel charges were Ces Drilon, Venancio Borromeo, and Marie Lozano.
Meanwhile, a sexual harassment case was filed against Cheryl C. Favila, former ABS-CBN News Executive, and Maricar P. Asprec, ABS-CBN News Segment Producer.

As per the harassment case, the accused ABS-CBN Execs, in a previous report, Favila and Asprec’s lawyer said that it was “unfortunate” for Fullido to pursue the case despite the same complaint has been dismissed as baseless after the investigation of ABS-CBN.
Meanwhile, as per ABS-CBN’s official statement about the matter, the network assured to do “prompt action on the administrative complaint and decide based on the evidence to be presented.”
There were also celebrities who expressed their support for the female anchor such as Melissa Ricks, Jerica Ejercito, Ethel Booba, Bianca Gonzalez, and among others.

Thus, with all the support she received from the people, celebrity or not, Gretchen expressed her gratefulness to them. This was relayed through a Facebook post from her lawyer.
The post fully stated: “Gretchen Fullido thanks the public for their support. In a statement released to the public this morning, Gretchen Fullido said she appreciates the public’s reaction to her filing of sexual harassment and libel cases. She added that she wishes to thank the public for the support.”All I can say is these are public records now. The public can do their research and verify. Please just pray for me in these difficult times.”
