ABS-CBN Official Statement Over Gretchen Fullido Filed Cases

Here’s ABS-CBN official statement after Gretchen Fullido filed cases.

GRETCHEN FULLIDO – The female anchor Gretchen Fullido filed libel and harassment cases against two execs and colleagues and here’s ABS-CBN official statement to it.

ABS-CBN female anchor and showbiz reporter Gretchen Fullido filed a harassment case against Cheryl Favila, former TV Patrol executive producer, and Maricar Asprec, a segment producer.

This is after the said two executives have “sent her text messages loaded with sexual innuendos ” along with sexual favors.

This is according to the post of her Fullido’s lawyer Marvin Aceron as she filed last October 5 at the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office.

Thus, the television network ABS-CBN has released their official statement about the matter stating that they take sexual harassment seriously and that they don’t condone such actions in the workplace or by its employees.

They assured to allow both parties to take legal action about the matter just like what they did when Fullido also filed an administrative case against a supervising producer and a segment producer last November 2017 for still the same accusations.

“ABS-CBN respects the right of news anchor and reporter Gretchen Marie Fullido to bring her sexual harassment complaint to the courts. Now that she has filed charges with the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office, we expect all parties to allow the legal process to take its course.

ABS-CBN takes sexual harassment seriously and does not condone such acts in the workplace or by its employees.

When Ms. Fullido filed an administrative case against a supervising producer and a segment producer for alleged sexual harassment in November 2017, the company took prompt action on the administrative complaint and decided based on the evidence presented.”
