Her lawyer stated this on Facebook:

“Gretchen Marie Fullido, ABS-CBN anchor and reporter, filed this afternoon a sexual harassment case against Cheryl C. Favila, former ABS-CBN News Executive, and Maricar P. Asprec, ABS-CBN News Segment Producer. The case was filed before the City Prosecutors’ Office of Quezon City.”

Furthermore, she accused veteran journalist Ces Drilon of victim-shaming her. In line with this, Ces said that she is saddened by the accusation from her fellow woman.

The ABS-CBN management has already released its official statement regarding this matter.

Just recently, the lawyer of the accused ABS-CBN executives answered the accusation from Gretchen Fullido.

Based on the article published in PEP, Cheryl Favila, Maricar Asprec’s lawyer said that the accusations from Gretchen are baseless.

Atty. Evalyn Ursua said that the cases filed before the prosecutor’s office of Quezon City were already dismissed. Reportedly, this happened after the ABS-CBN had a formal investigation.

It was also said that the text messages that were presented as evidence were taken out of context.

The lawyer further stated that the baseless complaint from Gretchen is a “classic example of discrimination” of LGBTQ community wherein Favila and Asprec are members.

“While it pains me to go against another woman in a sexual harassment case, I welcome the opportunity to rise to the defense of two women who are wrongly accused,” the lawyer said.
