The said ball is also for the re-launch of the Bantay Bata 163 Children’s Village at Norzagaray in Bulacan, “a home that heals”. The event is not just for some glitz and glamour but also for a good cause.

In a previous report, the advocacy promotes to “provide immediate care and holistic healing for the children and help them build a better future for themselves through physical and psychological means in a structured, therapeutic family-like environment.”

Also, to show support to raise awareness over the child abuse not just in the country but worldwide, the artists wore a blue ribbon pinned on their left shoulders.

“This is actually the international color for child abuse. Child abuse is a worldwide phenomenon. It’s not just a problem in the Philippines; it’s a problem in several countries. This is our way of promoting prevention of child abuse,” Bantay Bata 163 program director Jing Castañeda said.
