Here are some of the comments from netizens regarding the chitchat of President Rodrigo Duterte with chief legal counsel Sal Panelo.

President Rodrigo Duterte appeared before the media on September 11 as he conducted a chitchat with chief legal counsel Sal Panelo.

Initially, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said that it was going to be an “address” but later on Special Assistant Bong Go labeled it as “press conference”.

The event was first scheduled to happen at 3 o’clock in the afternoon. On the other hand, several news entities reported that it would no longer take place.

Roque corrected this announcement by saying that the Chief Executive would have a chitchat with Panelo instead.

After almost an hour of waiting, the whole nation witnessed how President Rodrigo Duterte discussed some issues with his chief legal counsel.

He talked about Senator Antonio Trillanes IV and his ouster plot. He also iterated that the amnesty granted to the lawmaker was invalid.

Duterte also discussed the current status of rice industry in the Philippines and the third telco player that will be revealed this coming Decemeber.

As expected, Filipinos have different reactions regarding what he discussed in his chitchat with Panelo.

His critics were quick to expressed their reactions on social media.

Of course, the supporters of President Rodrigo Duterte defended him against his critics and the keyboard war started.

There were also netizens who expressed their neutral thoughts between Duterte and his present conflict with Trillanes.

Some netizens took the matter lightly and just laughed about it.
