Direk Cathy Garcia-Molina Offended by Actor Daniel Padilla
CATHY GARCIA-MOLINA – The Hows of Us director Cathy Garcia-Molina admitted to having been offended by Daniel Padilla.
In one of her last five films before she would take a break from work, Direk Cathy Garcia-Molina worked with young couple Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo. The two Kapamilya stars compose the loveteam “KathNiel“.
Direk Cathy worked with KathNiel in The Hows of Us which is currently showing in cinemas nationwide. The said love story movie has record-breaking earnings.
It is not the first time of Direk Cathy Garcia-Molina to work with Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla. They have already worked together in the movie She’s Dating the Gangster.

Direk Cathy Garcia-Molina is visibly close to Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo. She even tagged the young actor as the John Lloyd Cruz of her life now. In most of her films, the blockbuster director worked with Lloydie.
During her appearance on Tonight with Boy Abunda, Direk Cathy revealed why she compares Daniel and John Lloyd.
Based on a recent report on Philippines’ Ultimate Showbiz Hub (PUSH), the THOU director expressed that both John Lloyd and Daniel won’t easily just do what she wants them to do.
“Both battle it out with you in a positive way. Kinukwestyon ang kwento, ang characterization,” she said.

Direk Cathy Garcia-Molina admitted that being close became a problem for her and Daniel Padilla. She shared that sometimes the young actor won’t agree with her and he has offended her.
“Minsan nga na-offend na ako e, gusto mo ikaw na lang mag-direk. Dahil masyado na kaming close, nagaganyan na ako,” she said.
Meanwhile, despite Daniel not obeying her sometimes, the director also raised that there are times that he really has a point.
With regards to Kathryn Bernardo, based on the report, Direk Cathy Garcia-Molina is proud that some of her lines were originally written by her. She has asked the young actress to write a letter when she is tired – “both as Kathryn and as George”.
