Who will Sen. Manny Pacquiao fight against with next in the ring?
PACQUIAO – Filipino boxer-turned-senator Manny ‘Pacman’ Pacquiao confirmed that he is set for another fight this 2018.
Recently, Sen. Manny Pacquiao made the Filipinos proud again as he defeated Argentinian boxer Lucas Matthysse. It was in July when the fight which is dubbed as the return of Pacman in the boxing ring happened.
The Pacquiao-Matthysse match happened at the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Buboy Fernandez was the coach of the Filipino boxer in his match against the Argentinian boxer. His victory made him the new WBO Welterweight champion.
Sen. Manny Pacquiao’s family watched his match against Lucas Matthysse live. His wife Jinkee Pacquiao, their children, and his mother Dionisia Pacquiao were there. Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte also watched the match live.

The July fight of Pacman won’t be his last boxing fight in 2018. Based on a recent report on Inquirer, the Filipino boxer has confirmed that he will be back in the ring in December.
The confirmation allegedly happened as he accommodated Asian Games 2018 gold medalist Margielyn Didal in his office in the Senate on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, based on the report, Sen. Manny Pacquiao did not reveal his opponent for the December fight. There are speculations that the 39-year-old boxer will fight against British professional boxer Amir Khan.
Khan is the former sparring partner of Pacman. Based on the report, the former has been calling out the latter for a date set in the United Kingdom or in Dubai.
Aside from the December fight, Sen. Manny Pacquiao also hinted at a “big fight” which will happen either in April or May 2019.
