Duterte Reacts To Mocha Uson’s Controversial Actions

Pres. Duterte Stresses “Freedom of Expression”

DUTERTE – President Rodrigo Roa Duterte reacted to the controversial actions of Presidential Communication Operation Office (PCOO) Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson.

Undeniably, PCOO Asec. Mocha Uson was involved in a lot of issues already. It includes an issue with Kris Aquino. The actress reacted after the PCOO Asec. involved the late former Senator Benigno ‘Ninoy’ Aquino Jr. in defending Pres. Duterte’s controversial kiss.

Recently, lots of netizens also called out to remove Uson from the government following the viral federalism video. Though it sparked the curiosity of the public about federalism, many were disappointed by what she and Drew Olivar said.

For her part, PCOO Asec. Mocha Uson expressed that it has nothing to do with the “information drive” and the draft of the Consultative Committee.

Recently, Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte flew to Jerusalem, Israel. Based on a recent report on ABS-CBN News, speaking to the Filipinos there, he expressed his side over PCOO Asec. Mocha Uson’s actions.

The 73-year-old national leader expressed that Uson has lots of enemies. He admitted that he thinks there are things that went overboard but stressed that it is covered by the Freedom of Expression.

“As a president who is sworn to take the constitution and enforce it, it is covered by freedom of expression,” Pres. Duterte said.

Based on the report, Pres. Duterte also added that the statements of PCOO Asec. Uson is not really his concern as long as it is covered by the Constitution’s provision.

“Kung ano ang gusto n’yang sabihin, ke empleyado siya ng opisina ko o sa labas as a private citizen, that is not really my concern,” he said.
