GMA -7 Executive reacts to rumors regarding the network transfer of Regine Velasquez to ABS-CBN.
Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez allegedly will transfer to ABS-CBN after her current show in GMA, ‘The Clash’.
The said show is a reality singing contest which aims to find the next singing sensation in the Philippines. It airs every weekends and also features Asia’s Nightingale Lani Misalucha.
Also included in the show are balladeer Christian Bautista and Comedy Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas as judges.
On the other hand, people perceived that this will be the last show of Regine in GMA as rumors about her network transfer surfaced.
In line with this rumor, GMA’s SVP for Entertainment Madam Lilybeth Rasonable answered the issue. However, she did not provide elaborate detail whether the rumor is true or not.
According to her, as of now, there is no finality yet.
“Nag-usap na kami. Pero siguro habang wala pang ina-announce officially, either from the network or from Regine, those are all just hearsay or speculation,” Resonable said, based on the article published in PEP.
She added that since there is no details yet about this issue, there is nothing confirmed yet.

Even the matters about the contract of Regine Velasquez in the Kapuso network was not detailed.
The only confirmed information about the Songbird now is that she is set to fly to the US after ‘The Clash’ for her concert tour.
After her US concert tour, perhaps that would be the time she will deny or confirm the rumors about her network transfer.
Based on the article, the rumors speculated that Regine will be a Kapamilya this October.
Meanwhile, ‘The Clash’ is about to reveal the first-ever winner. Currently, 12 contenders are just left to battle against each other. All of them have their distinct talent making the contest’s outcome unpredictable.
