It was theater director Paul Ballano who shared Carl Malone’s story which eventually went viral.

“He shared his experience. Hating to watch the show who gave him Fame but NOT A GOOD LIFE. A promise that was broken. The hardest part… HIS TALENT FEE IS STILL WITH ABSCBN until now,” the director wrote.

This has then gathered a lot of comments from the people of social media. Some have said that the show and the network must take action over the issue. Meanwhile, some have suggested hearing the other side of the story for fairness before making conclusions right away.

And after the issue has surfaced, a certain Cris Y-m Montecido emerged claiming that she is the wife of Carl Malone and refuted the statements on the post of the theater director.

“This is not true. I know the real story behind that [talent fee]. Kawawa naman ang nagpost. Pwede siyang makasuhan ng ABSCBN because of this false statement.”
