Bagyong Luis Enters PH, 2 Typhoons Spotted Near PAR, PAGASA Says
PAGASA reported that Bagyong Luis has already entered the country, while Typhoons‘Cimaron’ and ‘Soulik’ were spotted near PAR.
On Thursday (August 28, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released the latest weather update in the country.
The weather agency reported that Tropical Depression Luis has entered the Philippines and was last spotted at 290 km North Northwest of Basco, Batanes.
Meanwhile, weather forecaster Ezra Bulquerin also reported that two typhoons were spotted outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
Typhoons ‘Cimaron’ and ‘Soulik’ were last located 2, 000 kilometers east-northeast of extreme Northern Luzon.
The weather systems have maximum sustained winds of 145 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness of up to 180 kph.
