Kris Aquino answered the statement of her ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ co-star Chris Pang that she brought 18 personal assistants or “alalays” during the shoot.
Queen of all Media Kris Aquino indeed made a memorable mark in the all Asian-cast movie ‘Crazy Rich Asians’.
It can be recalled that Australian actor Chris Pang tagged Kris as the “real rich crazy Asian’ upon seeing her lifestyle.
Chris portrayed the character of Colin Khoo, the one getting married in the movie.
He said that he was surprised when he met the Filipina social media influencer. It is because Kris brought 18 personal assistants, according to him.

“When I met her…I was kind of confused because she came with 18 assistants. I was like, who is this person?” he said.
He added that initially, he thought that those persons who were with Kris was part of the production team.
“I probably thought they were part of the set, like some character had all these helpers and assistants, which kind of made sense. But no, those were her actual [personal assistants]!” the Australian actor said.
For Chris, the Queen of all Media was simply depicting her real self. She was just showing her lifestyle in real life, according to him.

This is different from the rest of the cast who were “acting and trying to dig deep into the life that they didn’t know”.
In line with this, Kris Aquino clarified what her co-star in ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ said about her “alalays”.
Based on the article published in PEP, the former presidential daughter only had 8 personal assistants. The group includes her make-up artist, hair stylist, and fashion stylists.

Reportedly, while Kris was shooting in Singapore for the movie based on Kevin Kwan’s book, Procter and Gamble team based in the said country visited her.
She is endorsing a laundry powder made by the said company.
Aside from that, executives from Unilever and General Mills also paid a visit to her at the set of ‘Crazy Rich Asians’, based on the article.
