Queen of all Media Kris Aquino indeed brought pride to the Philippines and all Filipinos because of her part in the movie ‘Crazy Rich Asians’.
Her yellow modern Filipiniana gown has captured the eyes of fashion critics as she walked on the emerald carpet during the Hollywood premiere of the movie.
Previously, some criticized her for making a fuss about the movie when she only had a cameo role. On the other hand, the author of the book where the movie was based, Kevin Kwan, said that she is the highlight of the movie as Malay Princess Intan.
Behind the success of the movie and Kris’ stint in Hollywood to make the Philippines known internationally, there is another blow to her.
In the list of photos of the cast members of ‘Crazy Rich Asians’, only the photo of the social media queen seemed to be different.
According to the article published in the Preen section of Inquirer, that specific photo of Kris Aquino is used in memes.
Compared to the photos of other cast members, it is her’s that stands out. The photo of other actors and actress were red carpet-quality headshots.
That was not the same thing to the photo of Kris.
