Actress Alice Dixson talked about her famous soap commercial with the tagline “I can feel it!” which boosted her popularity during the ’90s.

On her recent Instagram post, the she related this to the misconception of most people about skin color.

She shared a photo of her shot at the studio but it did not went through any photo editing or digital enhancement.

In line with this, she said that “Europe is starting to ban the use of alteration of advertising material for beauty & fashion”.

This reminded her of the time when she did the famous soap commercial. Alice shared that she loves her skin tone then and now.

Then, the actress cited one reality in the Philippines regarding the idea of many about having whiter skin.

“A lot of Filipinos like to bleach their skin because they want to look more western or maputi but we should really learn to love who we are,” she wrote.

Alice Dixson also shared a saying from Eisenhower which said “Comparison is the thief of joy”.

Furthermore, the actress offered tips for her social media followers to have a glowing and healthy skin.

According to her, she maintains the glow of her skin through drinking a lot of water, getting enough dose of Vitamin D, having enough sleep and she recommended a beauty product that she trusts.

Some of her followers on Instagram also agreed there is no need to use photoshop to look better in pictures. There are some who said that her beauty is something that many people admire about her.

One netizen cited that her billboard along Edsa looks so real while the other one reminisced her “I can feel it!” commercial.
