Tropical Depression “Josie” Leaves Philippines, Yet Heavy Downpour Continues To Affect Most Areas

HEAVY DOWNPOUR – As tropical depression Josie leaves the country, heavy downpours continue to fall and affect areas in Luzon and Visayas.

Based on the report, cl(–foul word(s) removed–) are still suspended on July 23 (Monday) due to heavy rainfall inflicted by Tropical Depression Josie.

Josie will still bring heavy rains until July 24 (Tuesday). according to PAGASA meteorologist Sheila Reyes.

According to the report in ABS-CBN News, PAGASA said that the storm was 475 kilometers north northeast of Basco, Batanes, packing maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour and 65 kph gusts.

Elsewhere, another storm is located at 1,230 kilometers east of Southern Luzon. PAGASA said that it will enter PAR on Monday, the same day Josie leaves the Philippines.

Based of the report, it is currently named “Karding” and it will be the fifth storm to hit the country this month.
