A popular cigarette brand allegedly contains wrong precautionary measure on its package cover regarding its negative impact to the body’s health.
Smoking cigarette is surely dangerous to the body’s health since it contains thousands of toxic and harmful chemicals.
Cigarette also contains no benefits for the body causing various types of diseases and may cause further complications in the future.
Cigarette packs now contain health warning message and images to let the public learn the hazardous effect of the smoking to the body’s health.
Recently, a Facebook user named Sly Pj has shared the photo of Fortune cigarette allegedly containing health warning message.
The cigarette packs have a warning message of:
“Ang Pagsisigarilyo ay Sanhi ng Gangrene”
The passage shows that Gangrene (Disease) is the cause of cigarette smoking, which was allegedly wrong since it was one of the negative effects of smoking.
Here are the definitions of ‘Sanhi’ and ‘Bunga’ based on a Philippine book:
“Sanhi” (Cause) – ay ang tinatawag nating pinagmulan o dahilan ng isang resulta o pangyayari. Karaniwan, ang sanhi ay pinangungunahan ng mga katagang sapagkat, dahil ,at iba pang uri nito.
“Bunga” (Effect) – ay ang resulta, kinalabasan o ang naging dulot ng isang pangyayari. Dapat ito ay pahayag na nagsasaad ng kinalabasan ng isang naunang pangyayari.
