Gov’t Work & Class Suspensions At All Levels As Of 1 pm (July 17), Palace Declared
Malacañang Palace has declared the government work and class suspensions at all levels as of 1 pm in public schools along Metro Manila.
Effective 1:00 pm on Tuesday afternoon (July 17, 2018), the cl(–foul word(s) removed–) in public schools at all levels and works in government officers have been suspended due to the bad weather condition.
The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) recommend the cancellation of cl(–foul word(s) removed–) and work suspension because of the inclement weather brought by Typhoon Henry.
However, the suspension work for private companies and schools are still left to the decision of their respective heads.
Meanwhile, the offices performing the basic, health, and vital services will continue to perform their duties and responsibilities.
The declaration was based on Memorandum Circular No. 47 signed by executive secretary Salvador C. Medialdea.
