Heavy Rainfall Warning In Some Parts Of PH Issued By PAGASA
PAGASA has issued a heavy rainfall warning in some parts of the country due to the enhanced southwest monsoon brought by Bagyong Henry.
On Tuesday (July 17, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) raised various heavy rainfall warning over some parts of the country due to the heavy rainfall.
Metro Manila and its nearby provinces were placed under the heavy rainfall warning because of the spontaneous heavy rain pouring.
Here are the areas placed under the heavy rainfall warning based on PAGASA’s 7:35 am rainfall advisory:
Orange Warning
- Metro Manila
- Bulacan
- Bataan
- Batangas
Yellow Warning
- Rizal
- Cavite
- Pampanga
- Zambales
Yellow Warning indicates 7.5-15mm rain observed in an hour was expected to continue in the next two hours and flooding is possible.
Orange Warning means 15-30mm rain brings intense rain and flooding is threatening.
Red Warning brings more than 30mm rain and serious flooding are expected in low-lying areas.
PAGASA also warned the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flashfloods and landslides.
Meanwhile, Laguna and Quezon are expected to experience light to moderate and occasionally heavy rains.
