Why is Eric John Salut not proud of Manny Pacquiao’s victory?

The ABS-CBN publicist Eric John Salut expresses his opinion about Manny Pacquiao’s victorious boxing match against Lucas Matthysse.

Senator Manny Pacquiao has brought another pride for the country after defeating Argentine brawler Lucas Matthysse through a TKO roughly a decade after not having a knock out.

In a previous article, there had been analysis and prediction made before the fight considering the strengths and weaknesses of both boxers.

This is also his fight without Freddie Roach on his corner but on the other hand, his coach was worried about the shoulder injury he’s been suffering from its fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr.

But the legendary boxer and senator beat all odds and defeated the Argentinian in a technical knock out after flooring him down for three times within just 7 rounds.

However, instead of being proud, Eric John Salute expressed that he is not proud of Pacquiao’s success.

“Kung ipinatanggol nya ang Panginoon sa pambabalahura ni Duterte, magiging proud pa ako sa kanya! Ano’ng ginagawa nya? Wag ako!”, Salut wrote in a post.

He further added, “Wag n’yo akong diktahan sa posts ko. Ni hindi nga nyan napagtanggol ang Diyos nung binastos ni Duterte! Namimili yan ng Diyos nya!”
