Direk Lauren Dyogi expresses something about Maine Mendoza.
MAINE MENDOZA – The ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ Director Lauren Dyogi revealed something over letting Maine Mendoza go when she auditioned for PBB.
Based on a previous report, Head of TV Entertainment of ABS-CBN Director Lauren Dyogi has revealed the audition videos of Maine Mendoza and Nadine Lustre on his first vlog which gathered various reactions right away.
“Syempre isang tao lang ako. Marami pang ibang opportunities or avenues para sumikat. Marami na akong misses in the past. Maraming nag-audition sa akin na hindi ko napansin at sikat na sila ngayon,” he said.
However, on his next vlog, he explained about the matter regarding with Maine Mendoza who is now considered as one of the phenomenal stars of the country.
“Nang hinayang ako kay Maine pero without Alden (Richards), we don’t know if Maine will work sa PBB lang. Eh nag-work yung Maine and Alden sa Eat Bulaga,” he has stated.
He further added that it was Maine’s fate to be at the GMA network who was then just scouted because of her viral Dubsmash videos.
“Actually, hindi naman pumila si Maine. Si Maine na-scout ‘yan ni Marcus [PBB staff] kasi sikat na siya sa Dubsmash sa Internet noon. E, hindi pa ako into digital at that time. Hindi pa ako naka-latch on sa strength ng digital noon.”
“Mas feeling ko, dun pa sa pumipila sa cattle call ang panggagalingan ng housemates. Marcus felt Maine would be interesting to be a housemate. So maling call ko yun. Hindi yun pila. Pinapunta siya sa PBB court. In a way, parang special screening na si Maine noon,” he said.
