Australian Players Allegedly Scared, Terrified After The Brawl

AUSTRALIAN PLAYERS – After the controversial Philippines vs. Australia brawl, Australian players are rumoredly scared and terrified and in fear of their safety.

In the previous article, after the brawl, some players from Gilas made a video and even took a selfie in a taunting manner. Moreover, netizens made various reactions regarding the act.

The “bruised” Australian players called for help and asked the government to aid them to leave the court and take them to the hotel. There are also instances of fans hurting the Aussies. One fan allegedly hurt the player in the face while another threw the chair at the players.

According to Rappler, Australian chief executive Anthony Moore addressed this issue in a news conference and said that: “We had our players and team management and our coaches in fear of their physical safety”

Even more, he added that the Aussies “accept our responsibility for our role in last night’s incident” and even said that, “What we don’t accept is the action whereby fans and officials actually get involved in the fray.”

Thon Maker, one of the players who was ejected from the match, said that this will be a springboard for discussion regarding the security surrounding these games.
