COA Reveals Top 10 Highest-Paid Government Officials
The Commission on Audit (COA) has finally revealed the top 10 highest-paid government officials last year on their report.
COA has exposed the list of officials in government agencies and in government-owned and -controlled corporations who received the highest salaries and allowances in 2017.
The names of the top paid government officials are based on the COA’s 2017 Report on Salaries and Allowances.
Here is the list of top 10 highest-paid officials:
- Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor Nestor Espenilla Jr – P14.92 million
- BSP Deputy Governor Diwa Guinigundo – P13.5 million
- Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) CEO Cecilia Borromeo – P12.46 million
- Solicitor General Jose Calida – P10.91 million
- BSP Deputy Governor Maria Almasara Cyd Tuaño-Amador – P10.16 million
- Supreme Court Associate Justice Presbitero Velasco Jr. – P9.59 million
- BSP Assistant Governor Wilhelmina Mañalac – P9.28 million
- BSP Senior Assistant Governor Ma. Ramona Gertrudes Santiago – P9.24 million
- BSP Monetary Board member Felipe Medalla – P8.869 million
- BSP Monetary Board member Juan de Zuñiga Jr. – P8.868 million
