Here is what the mother of the minor has said in the absence of Ellen Adarna in PAP case proceedings.
ELLEN ADARNA – The mother of the minor involved in the “Paparazzi” issue with Ellen Adarna which led to the filing of cases has said something over the actress’ absence in the proceedings of the case.
The “PAP” issue has sparked when the controversial actress Ellen Adarna has taken a video of a girl in a restaurant who reportedly took a video of them first, based on a previous report.
The issue has become controversial when it was found out that a certain Eleila, the netizen involved is just a minor. Due to this, the mother of the minor stood by her daughter and penned an open letter to the actress demanding a public apology.
With the time given to issue a public apology, the actress was not able to do so. Thus, charges such as child abuse and cybercrime against Adarna has been filed at the OCP in Pasig City.
Adarna, however, was not able to appear at the first hearing of the case the reason why it has been moved. It was rescheduled for June 11 according to a follow-up report.
However, at the rescheduled date, the actress was still absent but her boyfriend, the actor John Lloyd Cruz, attended the preliminary investigations appealing to postpone the hearing due to the actress current state being pregnant.
And yesterday, another hearing has been set but the actress did not show up still. The mother of the minor, Myra Abo Santos, expressed her dismay over it.

“Im very disappointed w/ the turn out of today’s hearing. Ms.Ellen has been given more than 1month to answer the charges & to ask for a resetting again & for 2 more weeks pa is sobra na. Maybe their play is to delay the case but my quest for justice for my daughter is unwavering,” the mother said based on a Twitter post reported by the Kapamilya reporter MJ Felipe.
