ANNE CURTIS – Kapamilya actress Anne Curtis spoke on the promotion of her movie Sid & Aya: Not A Love Story with Kapuso actor Dingdong Dantes.

Dingdong Dantes is undeniably one of the Kapuso stars who have worked not just with the people under his home network but as well as those coming from another network. He has previously worked with Kapamilya actor Enrique Gil in the movie Seven Sundays based on a report.

Recently, Dong worked again with another Kapamilya star – Anne Curtis. The It’s Showtime host and the Kapuso actor teamed-up for the movie Sid & Aya: Not A Love Story which is currently showing in cinemas.

Undeniably, the new movie of Anne Curtis and Dingdong Dantes gathered the moviegoers and elicited numerous positive feedbacks from the people who have watched the film.

Dingdong Dantes and Anne Curtis’ new movie is a huge success despite that they only did a “few promotions” for the film together as they are coming from different networks.

Speaking to Pep and the reporters at an event of Listerine, the Kapamilya actress stressed that it is really hard if the two lead stars of a film are coming from different networks.

“Hindi kayo nakakapag-promote together,” she said.

Based on the report, with regards to the promotion of their new movie, Anne Curtis expressed that it’s really through the social media and the word of mouth that is why they are really thankful to everyone who watched the film and all those who watched it again.

“It just goes to show na ang Filipino audience ngayon ay ready na sila sa kwentong ganon. Very real… Hindi siya formula, so nakakatuwa. Hindi siya mainstream! So, I guess, iyon ang maganda doon,” she said according to the report.

Anne Curtis is currently working on her next film entitled Aurora while Dingdong Dantes has recently started with his new infotainment show, the Amazing Earth. The Kapuso actor has also received offers to do movies but he has yet to give further details about it.
