What really happened prior to KZ Tandingan throwing a controversial joke to Edward Barber?
KZ TANDINGAN – Singer KZ Tandingan clarified what really happened before she threw a joke to young Kapamilya actor Edward Barber.
KZ Tandingan is undeniably one of the most prominent Filipino singers not just in the Philippines but as well as in other countries. She is one of those who were blessed to be a part of China’s Singer 2018.
Recently, KZ’s name was on news reports. Aside from being compared to Tawag ng Tanghalan champion Janine Berdin based on a report, the Pinay singer earned criticisms from some of the fans and supporters of young Kapamilya actor Edward Barber and actress Maymay Entrata.
Edward and Maymay who are collectively called by their fans and supporters as ‘MayWard’ are former housemates of Pinoy Big Brother as per a report. Both of them managed to remain in the spotlight even after their journey inside the PBB house has come to an end.
KZ Tandingan earned criticisms from some ‘MayWard’ fans and supporters following her throwing a joke to Edward Barber to just look for another person.
Based on a recent report in Pep, at her press conference held in Quezon City, the Pinay singer recalled what really happened that led her to throw a joke to the young Kapamilya actor on the ASAP Chillout.
According to KZ, during that time, she was about to sing a song when Maymay Entrata jested and told her to stand up although she was already standing during that time.
“Niloko ako ni Maymay, ‘Ate KZ, tayo ka na, tayo ka na. Tapos sabi ko, ‘Naku, masama yung ugali nito, Edward’… Sabi ko, ‘Naku, Edward, maghanap ka na lang ng iba,” the singer said.
Based on the report, KZ Tandingan stressed that there were those joined the issue without knowing the whole episode. She stressed that Maymay Entrata is one of the “nicest” people in the industry. She also revealed that MayWard is really very kind and they bonded when they were in Singapore.
