KZ TANDINGAN – Here is the reaction of “Soul Supreme” KZ Tandingan when she was compared to TNT grand champion Janine Berdin.
Janine Berdin is the grand champion of ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan’ and has shared that her great musical influence is the country’s “Soul Supreme” KZ Tandingan.
As much as probably aware of, there have been some observations that Janine’s way and style of performing have similarities to that of Tandingan.
And Tandingan, on her part having Jessie J as her great music influence as she even invited her for her major concert on previous report, was grateful because of it.

In the recent interview of ‘Soul Supreme’ in ‘Tonight With Boy Abunda’, she expressed that she is so proud of the TNT grand champion.
She also reacted when Abunda said that she is admired by the young singer.
“Sobrang nakaka-inspire yun na kumbaga yung sinasabi niya nga po na nai-inspire ko siya sa music niya, napakalaking bagay nun sa akin. Yung mga artist na kakaiba, mas may strength na tumalon sa bangin kasi in a way nai-inspire pala sila dun sa ginagawa ko,” the singer said.
But when it comes to the matter that Berdin was accordingly imitating her, she does not think so.
“Yung ginaya, i don’t think so. Pag pinakinggan niyo po siya, sobrang special na singer ni Janine.”
She cited Berdin’s performance of Kamikazee’s “Narda” where she described, “Sobrang ganda nung character ng boses niya na kahit kumanta siya ng ‘Narda’ naiiyak ka.”
And as per the issue that they are being compared, based on a report from PUSH, Tandingan stated, “Siyempre happy ako kasi ang galing galing nung bata pero we are different artists at kaya nakikita ako ng ibang tao sa kanya, ayun nga sabi ko we fall in the same category na iba kami sa normal na napapanood ng mga tao”
