Pauleen Luna-Sotto Criticized For Allegedly Calling Pia Guanio ‘Morena’
PAULEEN LUNA – Kapuso television host Pauleen Luna-Sotto reacted to a negative criticism over a show’s episode wherein she introduced Pia Guanio.
Celebrity couple Vic Sotto and Pauleen Luna-Sotto who now have a baby daughter based on a report, are both among the hosts of the GMA-7 noontime variety show Eat Bulaga! which airs from Monday to Saturday.
Among the other hosts of the show are Joey de Leon, Senator Tito Sotto, Ruby Rodriguez, Allan K, and Pia Guanio. Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, Paolo Ballesteros, Alden Richards, and Maine Mendoza are also hosts of the Kapuso show.
Recently, on her Instagram account, Pauleen Luna-Sotto had an exchange with a netizen who accused her over the introduction about her fellow Eat Bulaga! host Pia Guanio.
Based on a recent report in Pep, the netizen using a user handle @thatslana commented that she’s watching the Kapuso show and she finds it ironic when Pauleen Luna-Sotto called Pia Guanio “morena”.
In her comment, the netizen called out to Pauleen and told her that she is “originally morena” who is “light-skinned now” allegedly because of glutathione. The netizen also defended that Pia is “natural and classy”. She told Vic Sotto’s wife to “learn to be humble” and think before she speaks.
Based on the report, Pauleen Luna-Sotto reacted to the comment of the netizen and told her to get her story “straight”. The Kapuso TV host stated that she called Ruby Rodriguez “morena” as they described each other the opposite way in the said episode.
“We say the ‘opposite’ to intro one another. We called Pia the fattest,” she stated.
Furthermore, Pauleen also stated in her comment that she was born with fair skin and the netizen does not really know her since before. She also stressed how she sees the girls that are ‘morena’.
“Not that anything’s wrong with being a morena, fyi. And morena girls are beautiful. Now, i think it’s you who should think before you speak, not me,” the Kapuso host wrote in her post.
It is no secret to the public that Pauleen Luna-Sotto’s husband Vic Sotto previously had a relationship with Pia Guanio. Meanwhile, the celebrities are visibly in good terms and they can work together really well in the show.
According to the report, Pia is now happily married to her non-showbiz partner Steve Mago and they already have two kids named Scarlet Jenine and Soleil Brooklyn.
