Sunshine Cruz Asserts Trying to Talk to Kathy Dupaya in Private
SUNSHINE CRUZ – Kapuso actress Sunshine Cruz revealed her side on the ‘money’ issue between her and businesswoman Kathelyn ‘Kathy’ Dupaya.
Recently, Brunei-based businesswoman Kathy Dupaya broke her silence over the ‘money’ allegations against her by several people including celebrities Sunshine Cruz, Ynez Veneracion, and Joel Cruz.
The celebrities accused the Brunei-based businesswoman of not returning the money that they have invested in her business. The three celebrities have recently met to discuss the possible actions that they might take.
Based on a report, Kathy Dupaya broke her silence on the allegations and stressed that she was hurt and she never expected Sunshine Cruz to go against her.
Kathy Dupaya described the Kapuso actress as her ‘BFF’. She also stressed that Sunshine Cruz gained millions before from their business and she paid for her shopping and her trips.
Recently, through her social media account, Sunshine revealed her side on the issue between her and the Brunei-based businesswoman. The Kapuso actress posted a photo of pieces of jewelry on her Facebook account.
In another social media post, Sunshine stated that she tried to talk to Kathy Dupaya in private months ago in the pursuit of getting back her money but “it did not work”. According to her, that is the reason why she let her lawyers handle the issue.
The Kapuso actress stressed that she trusted the businesswoman who “was a friend”. She also wrote that she invested money for an additional income since she is a single mother. She is a mom of three – her daughters with her ex-husband Cesar Montano.
Based on her post, Sunshine Cruz allegedly wanted to take her “principal money” but Kathy Dupaya could not give it back to her. She wanted the court to decide over the matter.
