UNIQUE GIFTS – Here are the unique gifts received by Prince Harry of England and Meghan Markle for their Royal Wedding.

The Royal Wedding of the now Duke and Duchess of Sussex Prince Harry and Meghan Markle which happened on May 19, 2018, in St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in the United Kingdom.

The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, officiated the wedding.

The Duchess wore a creation of Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy.

And in terms of the gifts, the couple did not make it really hard to those who would like to give them as they suggested that traditional wedding presents to be in favour of donations to the following causes: CHIVA (Children’s HIV Association), Crisis (a UK-based homelessness charity), the Myna Mahila Foundation (a charity that supports women in Mumbai’s urban slums), Scotty’s Little Soldiers (which helps bereaved Armed Forces children), StreetGames (a foundation using sport to change lives), Surfers against Sewage and The Wilderness Foundation UK (which promotes the enjoyment of wild nature).

However, as Royalties, they were able to receive the following unique gifts:

  • Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced that Canada will be donating $50,000 (£29,000) to youth sports-focused charity Jumpstart.
  • White House spokesperson confirmed that Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump “would be making a contribution to one of the seven charities the royal couple has designated in lieu of gifts.”
  • PETA India gave the married couple an Indian bull they have adopted who was found weak and injured.
  • New Zealand’s prime minister Jacinda Ardern to donate $5,000 (£2,500) to the New Zealand charity Pillars.
  • Australian Prime Minister Malcom Turnbull to donate to Invictus Games charity.
  • The French President Emmanuel Macron gave a bespoke piece from ST Dupont’s 007 collections which include a pen and a lighter.
  • Australian region of New South Wales said that they will name two koalas after Harry and Meghan.
