This is how Regine Velasquez’s son discovered the previous marriage of Ogie Alcasid.
REGINE VELASQUEZ – The “Asia’s Songbird” Regine Velaszquez got shocked when she discovered how her son Nate found out about the previous marriage of his father Ogie Alcasid.
Prior to marriage with Regine Velasquez, OPM singer Ogie Alcasid was once married to Michelle Van Eimeren of whom he had two daughters with.
Ogie and Michelle married on 1996 but eventually got separated 2007. However, despite separation, the two former married couple was able to rekindle their friendship.

Actually, Regine and Michelle were close and the latter is the “ninang” of Nate.
Ogie and Regine married in 2010 and they had a son they named Nathaniel James who is familiar to the public as “Nate”.
And recently, Regine shared how Nate discovered the previous marriage of his father which accordingly shocked the country’s Asia’s Songbird.
In an episode in “Sarap Diva” hosted by the singer is where she shared the incident.

“Kasi kami din iba din yung set-up namin di ba? Si Ogie used to be married to Michelle. We’re all good… ninang siya ni Nate. Tapos meron siyang dalawang sisters, na siyempre anak ni Ogie at Michelle. Siguro hindi niya maintindahan bakit sisters mo yun… kasi nagtatanong na siya eh.”
Initially, they don’t know how to explain to the kid about their situation.

But Nate accordingly told her one day, “Mommy, did you know that Ninang Michelle used to be married to Daddy?”
Regine got shocked, of course. She then asked her son how did he know it and who told him about that in any case and the kid answered, “Mommy, I Googled it.”
