Kapamilya actress Jessy Mendiola thought she’d die in a road accident when her driver dozed off to sleep while driving.
“I honestly thought I was going to die,” Jessy admitted. She posted about the accident on her Instagram stories and narrated the details of the incident.
She shared that the van she was in swerved from side to side for the driver got lost control and hit a barrier even before her driver got back the control of the vehicle.
“The scariest part was the side that got hit was where I was sitting, maybe that was why I was the one who woke up first.”
“I’m very thankful nothing happened to me and no other vehicles went against us. I didn’t wish for this experience but it made me appreciate my life more, I thank God for waking me up before things got worse” she continued.
She is not mad at her driver and is also not blaming him only that she expressed a piece of an advice to all the drivers.
Jessy expressed, “My advice to drivers or to anyone who’s driving long hours, when you’re feeling sleepy or tired, please stop and take a nap. You are responsible for the lives of the people riding with you.”
