Direk Eric Quizon Compares Paolo Ballesteros To His Late Father Dolphy
PAOLO BALLESTEROS – My 2 Mommies actor Paolo Ballesteros reacted to actor-director Eric Quizon comparing him to his late father Comedy King Dolphy.
Kapuso actor-television host Paolo Ballesteros has a new movie, My 2 Mommies. He worked with actor-director Eric Quizon and actress Solenn Heussaff in the Regal Film movie which is a Mother’s Day offering.
Paolo is one of the talented stars under the GMA-7. He has made a name in the field of makeup transformation based on a report. He also does acting and television hosting. Even actor-director Eric Quizon, the son of the late Comedy King Dolphy, was impressed by his acting skills.
Based on a recent report in Pep, during a bloggers’ conference for My 2 Mommies, Eric Quizon could be heard comparing Paolo Ballesteros to his father.
When asked by the source why he likens Paolo Ballesteros to the late Comedy King, Direk Eric Quizon gave an example and cited that there was one scene where there is a catchy line and the Kapuso actor-TV host changed the said line for the next takes.
“Okay na yung first but I wanted a second take, another take, ano. Noong ginagawa na ni Paolo yung second take, iba yung ginawa niya… Tapos yung third, iba na naman… Siguro nakailang takes kami, naka-walo o siyam… I know that if there’s one person who does that is my dad,” he said.
Based on the report, when asked by the source about his reaction to Direk Eric Quizon comparing him to Dolphy, Paolo Ballesteros expressed that he thought it was not true. He feels humbled to be compared to the late Comedy King.
“Nakakahiya at saka nakaka-humble, humbling yung marinig mo, maikumpara ka sa isang Dolphy at galing pa sa anak ni Dolphy. Nakakatuwa,” he said.
According to the actor-TV host, with regards to his catchy lines, he really makes sure that he has some whenever he goes for a taping. He revealed that he does not inform those who are in the set about his lines to surprise them and give a light atmosphere during tapings considering that everyone’s tired due to a whole day taping.
