Why did Mich Liggayu become silent on social media after her boyfriend died?
MICH LIGGAYU – Jam Sebastian’s girlfriend Mich Liggayu revealed why she was silent on social media after her boyfriend passed away.
Lots of netizens were hooked by the YouTube loveteam JaMich which is composed of the late Jam Sebastian and Mich Liggayu. The couple’s videos on the online platform garnered millions of views.
Aside from their chemistry in front of the camera, the two YouTube personalities were greatly admired by many people as they are actually real-life lovers. They were already a couple for several years before the most challenging part of their relationship came.
In 2014, Mich Liggayu’s boyfriend Jam Sebastian was diagnosed with lung cancer. He fought for his life for more than a year. Based on a report, in 2015, the 28-year-old joined the Creator.
Following the death of Jam Sebastian, there were issues involving his mother Maricar Fernando and his girlfriend Mich Liggayu.
Mich Liggayu became quite inactive on social media following the death of her boyfriend. Based on a recent report in Pep, speaking to the source at the premiere night of the film My 2 Mommies, she revealed the reason behind her silence.
According to her, she previously avoided from posting on the social media to avoid the issue which follows her every post.
“Ngayon po, ilang taon na ang nakalipas, baka puwede ko nang i-express yung mga dapat kong i-express. Kasi dati, sinasabi nila, ginagamot ko… ganyan,” she said.
Based on the report, Mich Liggayu also stressed that she and Jam Sebastian were together for seven years and they were already like a married couple. They will supposedly be celebrating their 10th year anniversary this May 10.
With regards to the issue with Jam’s mom, his girlfriend expressed that they were able to fix the problem as she gave her half of the money of Jam which she asked. For her part, Mich Liggayu expressed that she does not want to harbor hatred and she hopes that she and Jam’s mom will be okay in time.
“Hindi rin naman magugustuhan ni Jam kung may ganyang nangyayari. Mahirap kapag may kaaway ka, mabigat sa pakiramdam,” she said.
Based on the report, Mich Liggayu is currently focusing on her showbiz career. She has signed a contract with the Regal Entertainment Inc. and the film My 2 Mommies is her first project under the filmmaking firm.
