Vilma Santos-Recto Proud of Son Luis Manzano
VILMA SANTOS-RECTO – Governor Vilma Santos-Recto cried during her appearance as a guest in the Kapamilya show I Can See Your Voice.
Luis Manzano, the son of actress-turned-politician Vilma Santos-Recto with her actor ex-husband Edu Manzano, recently turned a year older. Based on a report, he turned 37 years old and his actress girlfriend Jessy Mendiola prepared a celebration for him.
The said celebration gathered the important people in the life of Luis and he was very grateful for it. His mother and father were both present at the event and as well as his stepfather Senator Ralph Recto and his half-brother Ryan Christian Recto. It was held at Solaire Resort.
On social media, Gov. Vilma Santos-Recto’s son revealed that it was the first time that both sides of his family were gathered in one place. The family of Jessy Mendiola was also there at his birthday celebration.
The photos posted by Gov. Vilma Santos-Recto’s son on social media showed that it was really a happy moment for him. All their smiles depict the happiness that they are feeling and he affirmed it in his post.
Just like his father, Luis Manzano is also excellent in doing television hosting. He is known as one of the most excellent TV hosts in the Philippine showbiz industry. He is often paired with Kapamilya TV host Billy Crawford in hosting projects.
Currently, the two celebrities who are really close even behind the camera are handling different projects. Billy is one of the hosts in ABS-CBN’s talent search show Pilipinas Got Talent alongside with Toni Gonzaga while Luis is the host of the Kapamilya show I Can See Your Voice.
Recently, in line with Luis Manzano’s birthday celebration, Gov. Vilma Santos-Recto made a surprise guest appearance in the Kapamilya show. During her appearance, she was not able to resist from crying as she expresses how proud she is of her son.
“I’m so proud of my son. I just want to thank God for blessing me with a son like Lucky. Natuto siya, with all his blessings, to share it with other people na nangangailangan,” the actress-turned-politician said based on a report in ABS-CBN News.
The singvestigators, Angeline Quinto, Alex Gonzaga, Wacky Kiray, Bayani Agbayani, Andrew E., and Kean Cipriano also went emotional. According to the report, Vilma chose the perfect singer to sing together with her son who is the host of the show.
