Lovi Poe shared her motherhood realization
Kapamilya actress Lovi Poe revealed in a recent interview what she realized after becoming a mother.
Lovi and her husband, businessman and film producer Monty Blencowe, tied the knot on August 26, 2023. They welcomed their first baby, named Sloane, in 2025.
The actress chose to be private when she got pregnant. She maintained their privacy when it comes to their baby. After giving birth, Lovi gracefully returned to her showbiz engagements.
In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, Lovi Poe talked about motherhood. “Masarap pala ang magkaroon ng anak,” she said.
“Sloane kasi means warrior and also, may mga listahan kami na isinulat, mga iba’t ibang pangalan. Wala talagang nag-match sa aming mag-asawa na isinuggest na gusto naming dalawa. Sloane lang and it’s not common,” Lovi shared.
The actress also said that she wants her daughter to grow up thinking that she is a fighter and that she is a tough cookie.
When asked who Sloane resembled, Lovi answered, “Hati,” but she said that their daughter inherited Monty’s skin color.
The public learned that Lovi Poe gave birth to Sloane on October 2, 2025, due to her statement that her and Monty Blencowe’s child was exactly eleven months old. The actress made this statement on September 2.
“She turns eleven months today, nandoon siya ngayon sa Amerika. Tapos nandito ako ngayon,” the Kapamilya actress said.
The actress also shared that she was quite sad that she is away from her daughter. It is her first time being away from Sloane, and it was tough for her.
Right now, Lovi and Monty haven’t shown the public the face of their baby yet. “It’s a discussion that me and my husband were having right now. Kasi, parang eventually, I think it would be nice to share this beautiful treasure that we have and maybe in the future,” the actress shared.
