Kim Jong-Un, Moon Jae-in Met On Historic Korean Summit
The North Korean Leader Kim Jong-Un and South Korean President Moon Jae-in have met on the historic summit of Korea.
On Friday (April 27, 2018), the North and South Korean leaders have set off towards the Demilitarized Zone dividing their countries for a historic summit.
The KCNA news agency reported that the communist leader will open-heartedly discuss matters in resolving the issues and improving the Korean peninsula.
Moon Jae-in greeted Kim making him the first North Korea to step in the South since the Korean War during 1950’s.
Kim even invited Moon to step across the border of North Korea before crossing back into the South. South Korean boy and girl also give flowers to the two Korean leaders.
Kim and Moon are expected to discuss the denuclearization and exchanges between their countries hoping to achieve peace and prosperity.
Earlier this week, the communist leader said that he would stop the nuclear and long-range missile tests prior to the historic summit.
South Korean officials also said that the two country leaders are expected to release a joint statement, which could possibly be called as Panmunjom Declaration to improve relations.
