Derek Ramsay Works In Kapamilya Network Again
DEREK RAMSAY – Actor Derek Ramsay broke his silence on working with the ABS-CBN network again following past “misunderstanding”.
It is no secret to the public that Derek Ramsay and the Kapamilya network previously had a misunderstanding and it took several years before the two parties involved were able to sit down and talk about the issue.
Based on a report, Derek signed a contract with the TV5 from where he got offers that are really the things that he likes to do. He reportedly moved to the TV5 for the growth of showbiz career. He’s thankful for the opportunities given to him in TV5.
Meanwhile, time indeed heals as the “misunderstanding”. Derek Ramsay previously had a meeting with the ABS-CBN bosses and the misunderstanding was cleared and patched up. It was late last year when the actor returned to the Kapamilya network.
Based on a recent report in ABS-CBN News, one of Derek Ramsay’s first projects with the ABS-CBN is a movie with Kapamilya actress Bea Alonzo – the Kasal.
The said movie is a reunion project for the two celebrities who have previously worked together in the 2010 television series Magkaribal and the 2007 film One More Chance which is mainly starred by Bea and actor John Lloyd Cruz.
According to Derek Ramsay, Bea Alonzo is one of his favorite and most talented actresses and he finds it “nice” and “amazing” to be working with her again. He also shared that they were able to talk about the things that they were not able to talk about during the time when they haven’t seen each other.
With regards to his return to the Kapamilya network, the actor stressed that “it was just time” and it heals everything.
“I had my hurt, they had their hurt. For me, it was all one big misunderstanding that was caused by the respect and the love that we have for each other kaya nagkatampuhan,” he said.
Based on the report, Derek Ramsay admits that it feels like a “big thorn” has been removed from his heart. Aside from his project with Bea Alonzo, he is also set to do a project with actresses Maja Salvador and Arci Muñoz whom he has also worked with before.
“Nagse-scheduling na kami for that other movie,” the Kapamilya actor revealed.
