Does Aiko Melendez support Wendell Ramos and Sunshine Cruz’s network transfer?
AIKO MELENDEZ – Kapamilya actress Aiko Melendez revealed her side on the network transfer of actress Sunshine Cruz and actor Wendell Ramos.
Aiko Melendez, Sunshine Cruz, and Wendell Ramos have worked together in the ABS-CBN revenge television series Wildflower. The said project aired on TV for almost a year. Its last episode was aired in February 2018.
The three celebrities worked together with Maja Salvador, Tirso Cruz III, RK Bagatsing, Vin Abrenica, Joseph Marco, Yen Santos, and Christian Vasquez among others. Aiko is vocal that what they have built is really a family.
After doing Wildflower, Aiko Melendez accepted the Kapamilya offer – to play the role of Matadora in the primetime TV series Bagani.
Meanwhile, Wendell Ramos and Sunshine Cruz will be doing projects under the Kapuso network. Based on a report, the actress signed a show contract with GMA-7 and she considers it as a blessing not just to her but as well as to her children.
Sunshine has three daughters with her actor ex-husband Cesar Montano. She is vocal about how she values her work as it is her way to earn and provide for her daughters.
Based on a recent report in Philippines’ Ultimate Showbiz Hub (PUSH), Aiko Melendez know that Sunshine Cruz got an offer from the Kapuso network but she has no idea that Wendell also got an offer from GMA-7.
Speaking at the blog conference for Bagani, the Kapamilya actress expressed that she and Sunshine are really close so she knew that she has an offer from the Kapuso network just like her.
Aiko also received an offer from GMA-7 but she chose to accept the role in Bagani, a fantasy series mainly starred by loveteam partners Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano.
According to Aiko Melendez, she and Wendell Ramos do not talk a lot that is why she was surprised by his network transfer. Meanwhile, she expressed that she would be the happiest for the growth of her co-stars.
“Any growth ng mga kasamahan ko, I’d be the happiest, kasi kami lang naman, especially with Sunshine, she’s a single mom, she just needed to work,” she expressed.
Currently, Aiko Melendez is part of Bagani and she plays the role of Matadora. She admitted that she really had to get away from Emilia Ardiente-Torillo’s character but she’s well guided by the Bagani directors.
“Ngayon I can safely say, nakakawala na ako don sa ano, sa Wildflower,” she said based on the report.
Bagani is airing after the FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano during weeknights. Among the other characters of the TV series are Matteo Guidicelli, Makisig Morales, Sophia Andres, and Rayver Cruz.
