Why did Melai Cantiveros go emotional during an episode of ‘Magandang Buhay’?
MELAI CANTIVEROS – Magandang Buhay television host Melai Cantiveros went emotional during an episode of the Kapamilya show.
Currently, former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Melai Cantiveros is one of the television hosts of the ABS-CBN morning program Magandang Buhay. She is working together with Karla Estrada and Jolina Magdangal in the talk show which first aired in April 2016.
Based on a recent report in Inquirer’s Bandera, during one of the recent episodes of the said Kapamilya show, host Melai Cantiveros went emotional and revealed details about her family life.
According to the report, Melai shed tears after seeing their family photo together with her late grandmother.
Melai Cantiveros’ co-host, Karla Estrada, reportedly asked the actress-TV host on how she celebrated her recent birthday now that her grandmother is already gone.
In her response, the former Pinoy Big Brother housemate shared that her grandmother who recently passed away used to visit them every year. She admitted that they are sad as they long for her presence but she assured that they are very happy as well they believe that she is already in Heaven.
Based on the report, Melai also shared that they would usually have a nine-day novena to ‘Birhen dela Asuncion’ prior to the birthday and their request is for the family’s good health most especially her grandmother.
It was on the 6th of April when Melai Cantiveros turned a year older. According to the now 30-year-old TV host-comedienne, her wish is to continue being an inspiration to other people.
Based on the report, the former Pinoy Big Brother housemate is grateful to the Almighty God that her family is in good health, her financial aspect is okay, she has friends, and she is happy with her work.
“Thank you, Lord dahil ito ang celebration ko na kontento ako,” Melai expressed.
Melai Cantiveros rose to fame when she became one of the housemates of the ABS-CBN reality show Pinoy Big Brother. Based on a report, it was also where she met Jason Francisco who became her husband. The celebrity couple now has two children.
