KZ TANDINGAN – The Soul Supreme KZ Tandingan shares the reason behind her eagerness to perform Freddie Aguilar’s hit song “Anak” in Singer 2018.
The Philippine’s Soul Supreme KZ Tandingan continues to bring pride to the country as she performs in Singer 2018.
Currently, on the 8th episode, she is on the 4th spot of the competition.
As she is in China, she has received several nominations for the 2018 Myx Music Awards such as Female Artist of the Year, Media Soundtrack of the Year for “Two Less Lonely People” from the movie “Kita Kita,” Urban Video of the Year for “Labo” directed by Kean Cipriano and Artist of the Year.
The 2018 Myx Music Awards will be held on May 15 at the Araneta Coliseum.
With her continuous success in the above-stated international competition, she also has this eagerness to sing and perform the hit song by the iconic artist Freddie Aguilar – the “Anak”.
This song already has a translation in the Chinese language.
Based on a report from Philippine’s Ultimate Showbiz Hub (Push), KZ’s reason indicated, “Kasi aside from it’s one of the most beautiful OPM ever written, sobrang sikat din kasi siya sa China so kung kakantahin ko man siya lalo nilang maiintindihan kasi alam nila ang kanta.
She further said, “And alam mo ‘yun nakaka-proud na may OPM song na sobrang sikat
sa ibang bansa na kung hindi nila trinanslate, hindi nila maiintindihan di ba?Kumbaga nagkaroon ng connection ang ibang lahi sa kanta ng mga Pinoy.”
KZ’s achievements have indeed promised her to have more opportunities that might soon come her way overseas.
